Celebrating 19 Years of RTR

Ride the River is OFLC Student Ministries’ largest event, gathering members of our church community and beyond for fun, exercise, and the beauty of the outdoors for the past eighteen years. At RTR, families and individuals of all ages ride bikes, walk, and run together along the South Platte River in support of Student Ministries, student mission trips, and ministries and organizations chosen by students to sponsor through this fundraiser.

About this Year’s RTR
Come to Denver Seminary to support our students on June 20 by running or walking our 5K or riding your bike at the 6 mile family ride, 12-mile intermediate ride, or 18-mile challenge ride on the Mary Carter Greenway Trail. Everyone who registers by May 24 will receive complimentary Ride the River T-shirts, and all participants will automatically be put in the running for great prizes! Plus, this year, we will also have a free bike-decorating station for kids before the 6-mile family ride. Following your ride or run, join us at the Seminary chapel for our Ride the River celebration event, featuring plenty of food, live music, fellowship, prize drawings, and more. This is a fun and easy way to support our students while connecting with others in our church community!

Supporting OFLC Student Ministries
This year, we look forward to sending 22 students and adults to northern Idaho for a week of service to the Silver Valley community, located in one of the poorest and most underserved counties in the nation. In addition, 10% of our net fundraising income will be donated directly to Ysleta Lutheran Mission, which offers a variety of services to those living in poverty in El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico, including food, medical aid, housing, and educational resources for children. You can learn more about YLM through the button below.
